Steelroad is a four piece Metal Squad from Baden Switzerland that brings you bone crushing riffs, elevating Guitar Harmonies, exploding breakdowns and diverse Vocals all in one.
Founded by Trutz, Sush, Lukas and other members in mid 2005, the band started at a very young age and had to find their own style during the first couple of years. One Demo-CD ("Demotrain") was released and more than 20 concerts were played despite 2 line-up changes on the bass. With Flo entering the ring the band started moving towards heavier sounds. Many great concerts were played (including gigs at Nordportal, Wenk, Kofmehl with swedish Hardcore Band "Path of no Return", Ochsen, Merkker & Salzhaus Brugg with "Gonoreas").

With Sush taking over the Rythm Guitars, the band finally found their desired style of metal and wrote a bunch of new songs for an all out fresh setlist. Although the main foundation of the band's music has become a hybrid between Metalcore & Melodic Death, they didn't forget where they came from and stamped their own signature sound on their new Pieces. With the crowd responding really well to their new & heavier style, Steelroad feels stronger than ever before.

It has been a long way and the group has evolved in to a brotherly band of friends who simply want to deliver the best to their fans on every level and win over new listeners. Now after some very succesful Shows the band will record a new CD in the early 2011 which is to be released as soon as possible.
