Adina grew up in a musical family and started singing the day she first heard Mozart’s „Magic Flute“, at the age of three (maybe even earlier, who knows?). A few years later she started to play the violin. There never was a question, if music would be her life and profession and her dream of becoming a real composer goes back to the very day of the magic flute. But that not only classical music exists in this world, she found out the day she really got to know John Lennon and the Beatles at the age of twelve. This awareness changed her life forever. Shortly after she formed her first band and started playing the piano in several other very young bands. From there on she played everywhere she could and in many, many different groups of all styles and also accompanied other musicians and singers on the piano. The most important Band in her youth was a Punkrock Band called “Paraphernalia” with which she played lots of concerts all over the country. At the age of fifteen she discovered Jazz and started to play in a jazz quartet and soon also in Duo and Trio formations. From now on Jazz piano became a more and more important role in her life and soon she decided, that she one day wanted to study it at a school, which she also started a few years later at the jazz school in Lucerne. After leaving Paraphernalia in 2007, she joined several projects and soon started to play solo concerts in more a Singer/Songwriter or Jazz Stile, where not only the Lyrics matter a lot, but also long instrumental parts are very important. Since she started writing Songs at a very early age, the combination of poetry, composed and improvised music always fascinated her, so these are the main points in her songs.
