AELO, Blue Woman is designed as an interactive Swiss production for an international audience. The producer and artist Lisa Maito performs AELO the protagonist on a cultural stage.
The themes of alienation, tolerance, integration and communication, in combination with freedom and "the ability to relax" are experienced and enjoyed by all. AELO appeals to people of all ages and backgrounds. Lisa Maito would like to address the current issues of today in an artistic way that has never been done before. Her intent is to reach as many people as possible. AELO has an irresistible style and charisma; her visually spectacular performances reflect the playful and relaxed side of life.
AELO interacts with human beings in an intensive and mysterious manner through gestures, dance and song.
“AELO - Encounters between people & cultures” The Swiss artist Lisa Maito travels around the world with AELO to document her interactions with people and cultures in an artistic manner by means of film and photographs.
