The multimedia artist Lisa Maito wondered: "How can the issues of tolerance, alienation, integration, freedom and easy beeing" be transported to the public in an entertaining and profound way?

"We all are foreigners, when we cross our border. We all are strangers when we enter into another culture. We all are human beings and in fact all equal when we communicate by heart.” Lisa Maito

AELO and her team travel around the world, performing on the streets, in cities and in the countryside. AELO interacts with people in a spontaneous manner by simply turning up and being there. Encounters are neither planned nor staged. Through travelling, she is inspired by the people and customs of different countries and cultures in order to create a unique and reflective portrait of her experiences. AELO is designed as an interactive Swiss production for an international audience.

The producer and artist Lisa Maito performs AELO the protagonist on a cultural stage. The themes of alienation, tolerance, integration and communication, in combination with freedom and "the ability to relax" are experienced and enjoyed by all. AELO appeals to people of all ages and backgrounds.

The music production AELO – Welcome to the future in genre pop, ambient, electro and house, represents the philosophical side of the production. She invites the audience to go on a creative journey into AELOs universe. The music production is created for those who like to chill and those who like to dance.
