BELINDA Simmons–Born in 1993 in Baden Switzerland. The youngest of three children, both her parents are known Swiss blues and jazz artists Charles Simmons and Joséfine.

At an early age, Belinda joined the children's school chorus. At the age of eight, Belinda participated among 50 other children between 8-16 years of age, on the schools regional Mini-Playback contest. She performed live on one of Christina Aguilera’s Hit-song “Come on Over”. Belinda won 1st.place in all categories.

2002 autodidactically teaching herself on the piano, Belinda’s parent sends her to the classic piano-teacher, Miss Marianne Senn (Zurich). In a short laps of time her talents in jazz dominates classic, she takes lessons by the Basler pianist; Thomas Grabenschlag.

2006- As the last participant on the Music School Seasons’ Concert, Belinda surprised her music-teachers and audience by interpreting on one of Alicia Keys hit-songs. A never-ending Applause from the public was her reward.

"Besides singing as a background chorus-singer on various jazz and blues projects. I plan to study at an Academy School of Music."
