Biography
Bruce became known as “Bruce the Voice” through his convincing cover versions of well-known hits. With diverse bands, he was able to perform with world stars. In Mai 2005 as support act for Joe Cocker in the Messehalle in Dornbirn (Austria) and in August 2006 in Vienna (Austria) as special guest of TOTO. Further highlights of his career include performances with Status Quo, Jamiroquai, BAP, Dr. Feelgood and many more well-known acts.
Since the end of 2007, Bruce has worked intensively on writing his own songs. Already in 2008, his commitment was rewarded with the second place in the competition “Future Music”. The hit single “She’s Gonna Be Mine” with four bonus tracks was a surprise in spring 2009. In January 2010, CARITAS used the song “Song For Haiti” as their official charity song for the earthquake victims in Haiti. Bruce’s fans followed and treasured his singer/songwriter qualities even more.
In October 2010 the “Bruce Cradle Band” was presented by Bruce to a selected audience. The show hit like a bomb! After the show, the press spoke of a promising international career for the “Bruce Cradle Band”. Each of the musicians brought much experience with them and were already known in the music scene. Last but not least, the “Bruce Cradle Band” bring their motto “The Heart, Passion and Soul of Rock and Roll” with a concentrated charge of originality and heart onto the stage. The sum of the musical talent in the band makes it to a creative formation with great talent for Rock and Roll song writing – the influences of New Jersey are noticeable.
At the end of February 2011, the active troop presented their debut CD, “Live in Hohenems”. At the end of May 2011 the single, “Time to Give” was released with which Bruce Cradle makes people aware of the suffering of the starving. The income from the downloads for the single is donated by Bruce to CARITAS and is used for their campaign “Dabo – Together Against Hunger”. The live CD along with the single, are available on iTunes and Amazon.
The highlight of this rocketing band must be their performance in March 2011 as the main act in the St. Jakobshalle in Basel (Switzerland). Additionally, in May 2011 the “Bruce Cradle Band” was selected out of 100 bands into the final of the Bon Jovi Opening Act Contest by a jury of music professionals made up from representatives of the largest Swiss concert organisers Good News, the largest Swiss newspaper Blick, the Radio24 and representatives out of the music scene.
Keeping true to his roots, “Bruce Cradle Solo” still plays bars and clubs, unplugged. Just as he did at the beginning, Bruce plays cover versions and also his own songs using only acoustic guitars and harmonicas.

“The world premier was played in front of a full house in the Hohenems Tennis Event Centre (Austria). No-one knew what was going to happen and what the evening would bring until at 21:10 hrs. it all started. The “Bruce Cradle Band” rocked the house with well known songs from Bruce and also some new hits as well. The audience was enthusiastic and we’re sure that we will hear much more from the new star in the rock heavens.”
