Since firmly establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with in the Swiss DJ world, Acee’s hustle hasn’t slowed for a minute and the results are in! As the only DJ to be signed to Nation Music Switzerland, DJ Acee has raised eyebrows, pulses and hands across club floors around the world and her globe-trotting ways are now in overdrive. Known for her Hip Hop, R’n’B and Crunk Sets, refined with a proper portion of “scratch skills”, more recently Acee has extended her mix to include a hint of Electro when the occasion calls for it. Following a score of exclusive afterparties of such well-known artists as Busta Rhymes, Fatman Scoop, Mims, Tony Touch, Cali Agents or Tha Alkaholiks and performances alongside such famous DJs as DJ Scratch (EPMD), DJ Revolution (Wake up Show), DJ Premier (Gangstarr), DJ Babu & Rakaa of the Dilated Peoples, DJ Rob Swift, DJ Total Eclipse or DJ Cash Money. Not content with her dominance of the local club scene, successful Mix Cd’s, and the international demand for her DJ set, Acee now also holds down a weekly spot on Switzerland’s number one radiostation „Radio 105“.
Since Acee also has to offer a lot in the area of Turntablism, the organisers of the Swiss DMC Championships did not want to miss out on her and got her on board of their jury in 2007 and 2008.
One thing is for sure: it’s no longer possible to imagine the Hip Hop scene in Switzerland without DJ Acee. In other words, we wait with an impatience mixed by enjoyment for the surprises which she reserves us during the next years.
