“Grant Lassie” is a Zurich-based Indie-band founded in 2009 by Robin Simon. Grant Lassie has been influenced by many different music styles and therefore can’t be categorized to a specific music genre.
The debut-album “northwestern exposure” contains 13 songs, all written between 2003 and 2010. The album title refers to the US pacific northwest and especially the state of Oregon where Robin Simon lived during the years 2002/2003 and was strongly influenced by the people and the local music scene. There are many different music styles in most songs, e.g. old-school-beats, folk-guitars, rock- elements or Moog-synths. However, the roots of his music lie in classic singer/songwriting.

A new album is to be expected for Mid-2011. The band is recording new songs.
