With "Sirenes Allumees" jO jumps into the water to fish daily. A second very colorful work which is full of humor, tenderness and freshness.
Author, composer, and Fribourgeois interpreter, jO is back with a new album entitled, "Sirenes allumees", recorded in the Studio de la Fonderie in Fribourg and arranged by Jacques Roubaty. He describes adventures, 13 in total, that inspired him. A logbook in his frank and careful pen, where reflections intertwine with ephemeral messages of love and friendship.
After his well-received debut album, jO once again shares his joy and pain with much tenderness, immortalizing the love of a woman, the memory of a father and paternal pride. He invites you on a journey in which echoes of his daughters also resonate, which were also present on his debut album. But jO couldn't return home without letting go of a few sea urchins. With humor and derision, he lists the recurring masculine omissions and the adverse effects of a jackpot. In "L'as-tu vu passer?" he even takes the passage of time and upsets the compass. A single smile in 70 children is brought to life by Guillaume Reymond, which is the origin of jO's first video clip, "La Menace".
With "Sirenes Allumees", jO brings to light exchanged glances, suppressed emotions and alarm bells. A sometimes naughty wink on different levels. Surrounded by six musicians, jO brings the sound of every day life in an atmosphere sometimes rhythmic and sometimes folk pop. On two tracks he lets go of his guitar, his preferred instrument. Sequences imprinted with beautiful emotions.
Distributed by Disques Office, the new album will be on shelves at the beginning of November. A concert is set for November 26 at 8 pm at the Hotel de Ville de Bulle. On sale now, tickets are available at the Fnac and at the Office of Tourism in Bulle.

Author, composer and interpreter, jO is an artist fribourgeois raised on French music. In 1998, he picked up his guitar for a first public performance. This marked the beginning of a big story of scenic love. Eleven years later, jO releases his compositions on the album, "Talons aiguilles et bottes de foin." In more than 60 scenes, he communicates his joie de vivre, often colored with humor, and enflames concert halls and festivals. Today he is back with "Sirenes allumees". He describes his adventures, 13 in total, which have inspired him. A logbook of his travels in his frank and careful pen, where reflections intertwine, sometimes playfully, with ephemeral messages of love and friendship.
