Max Elli was born in Milan where he currently lives.
When he was 17 he found the Nerofumo band of which he was the voice and the composer of all original music and lyrics.

In 1999 after many years of rock n roll music he started a professional career going on tour with Sottotono in the “ Sotto Lo Stesso Effetto Tour”. He took part in the recording of the hit “Amor de mi vida” and he performed in all the commercial gigs on Tv.

In 2001 he recorded the album “in teoria” with Sottotono and released the single “so che ci sei” edited by Sony Music record label. In the meantime he started to play with the Luca Jurman Band formed by Paolo Costa , Max Furian and Beppe Pini.

During a brief tour with the JB, he performed with Nek and Biagio Antonacci on the famous Sugar Reef’s Stage. From that day on he started playing and touring with Nek from 2002 till 2007.

The band proudly performed for Live8 in Rome in 2005 and for the Olympic games in 2006.

In 2007 he took part to the Niccolò Agliardi debut album (1009 giorni) as guitarist and arranger. He has also composed the single Mi manca da vicino. He worked with Agliardi playing in show cases and promotional gigs.
He produced commercials and jingles and has collaborated to the artistic development of the musical “Winx Power Show”.

After being the guitarist of the resident band in CD Live 2 ( an Italian Television program) he has played all jingles for 101 Radio..

He has recently released his first solo album “Inner Smile”.
