Mekonium is a Swiss metal band from the city of Berne. They play a mix of death- and trash-metal with hardcore elements.
In december 2011 the independent label Subversiv Records released the first Mekonium studio album entitled «after the last day». It was recorded at the Little Creek Studio by V.O. Pulver (Gurd). The record features 10 brand new Mekonium songs.
