Biographie
International singer/songwriter NADINE divides her time between London and her native Switzerland. Influenced by her vocalist mother, 25 year old NADINE learnt to play and sing at an early age, and was just 16 when she earned a standing ovation from hundreds of young people at a huge open mic event.
Since then NADINE has performed regularly in UK venues including The Camden Head, The Bedford in Balham and the Living Room, Soho. She has collaborated with established Swiss artists Luca Little and Yokko frontman Adrian Erni. NADINE has also recorded with upcoming singer/songwriters such as Swedish Katarina Gunnerholm and UK-based Natasha North.
On her debut EP “Spring Will Come”, NADINE’s delicate and accessible pop sounds are haunted by her pure and fragile tones. Her songs are visionary and full of natural spirituality and her message is one of hope triumphant. Balancing epic melodies with organic instrumentation, “Spring Will Come” evokes an emotional response from her listeners, who are healed and refreshed by this crystalline sound. It includes the evocative track “Snowflake”, first released in 2012, which has sold in Europe and the US.
NADINE’s voice combines the effortless and relaxed quality of Imogen Heap and an early Norah Jones with the soulful passion of Regina Spektor and the warmth of Emeli Sande. She is also experienced in the visual arts, and the skilful and distinctive artwork of this EP is her own.
