The story of Promethee starts in early 2008 when Josh and Mathieu join Nils, Ludo and Elric who've been playing together for some time. The band finds quickly its way to the stage and meets great success in front of a fast growing public.

Released march 13th of 2010 with label Bad Mood Records, that EP definitely sent Promethee on a higher level. Recieiving plenty of good feedbacks from magazines, webzines and blogs as much as public itself this EP was a great success.

The fan base growing exponentially and the band's multiple apparition on radio and TV got the band to have more and more propositions, doing a tour in Canada, another one in Cuba and of course on Europe mainland as well as lots of micro-tours in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and up to Hungary.
In 2010, Promethee won the national contest and gets its place on the main stage of one of the biggest metal fest of Switzerland, the Greenfield Festival 2010, playing among others with Rammstein, The Prodigy, Heaven Shall Burn, HIM and The Dillinger Escape Plan.

Keeping on its tracks, Promethee went back in studio in the end of 2011 to record its debut album "Nothing Happens. Nodoby Comes, Nobody Goes." that will be released almost one year later on 13th october 2012.
The prestigious feedbacks from the press and the public are announcing a really good start for the album and are promising great things for the close future of the band.

After these years of experiences, more than 120 shows played in some 10 countries and a fan base growing from day to day, the band has never been so motivated, wanting to play and work with artists from every horizon to bring it's part to the international alternative culture.
