Biography
British Canadian singer/songwriter, and author Sandra Olajide is an artist who has performed alongside music legends such as Prince, Celine Dion, Andreas Vollenweider , Precious Wilson, and Yello!
She began her career at the tender age of 19 as the lead singer of the band HB Concept, which was lead by Henry Brown, cousin of the late great Jimi Hendrix and toured the United States and Europe extensively.
In the mid 1980’s Olajide established herself in Switzerland where she married and raised her two sons.
From her home base in Zurich, Olajide quickly became a highly sought after vocalist. She performed throughout the world and gave countless performances for world leaders, Royalty and Blue chip corporations. From Bill Clinton, Chancellor Kohl, President Chirac, Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Queen Rania, Princess Alexandra, Jackie Chan, House of Dior, Luis Vuitton, Deutsche Bank, UBS, Coca Cola, Estée Lauder to La Prarie the list is endless!
Olajide has teamed up with hit making producer David May in Zug Switzerland whose recent accomplishments include hit song “Superstar” and productions that feature the some of the hottest contemporary artists on the market today … P Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull Flo Rida to name just a few.
Olajide and May are collaborating on a number of songs that will bring some of the world’s mega stars inside the borders of Switzerland making it a power hub and driving force in the worlds dance music industry!
Together they have co written an awesome ballad called “Power of Love” with the hope of proudly representing Switzerland in the 2012 Eurovision song contest.
May’s Avante-garde hit making style together with Olajide’s incredibly seasoned and awesome voice and brilliant melodic lyricism is a force just waiting to be recognized!
