Spider Moonlight started in 1993 as a DJ, bringing the people the freshest Hip Hop and Funk music. In 1997, after having purchased the good old Akai MPC2000, he moved on and went to create his own beats, strongly influenced by the 90s New York Underground Hip Hop. Remembering his Piano lessons, Spider got to using synthesizers and successively replaced sampling with playing his own melody lines, which gave his sound a nice Westcoast touch.

After very few releases with local rappers, 2007 Mr. Moonlight decided it was about time to also get in control of this part of a production, and started writing his own rhymes. The efforts aimed in his 2010 debut album "Thoughtful fragments of a long way home."
