SwissReggaeUnity made its first steps the 2nd of October 2004 during the “open doors” of the RSR LIVE ON COULEUR 3 for “label Suisse” in collaboration with the Moonraisers and Mark Bähler (Kalakuta).

The SwissReggaeUnity story
SwissReggaeUnity made its first steps the 2nd of October 2004 during the “open doors” of the RSR LIVE ON COULEUR 3 for “label Suisse” in collaboration with the Moonraisers and Mark Bähler (Kalakuta).
The first session included Jahmangang (FR), Akamassa (NE), Feedback (GE), Herbalist (GE) and the Moonraisers as a backing band. All quickly realized that it was not possible to represent the Swiss reggae scene only with 5 bands so SwissReggaeUnity.com was created, listing the reggae activity in the country.
This first session also allowed the bands to know each other better and to start an intense collaboration. Quickly the first tunes were produced.
In the mean time, SwissReggaeUnity.com transformed in collaboration with Culture Wise.ch and many reggae fans to reggae.ch where a lot of SwissReggaeUnity.com ideas were set to place such as the VOL 1 of the COMILATION REGGAE.CH
The idea, as mentioned in SwissReggaeUnity consists of uniting the active Swiss reggae scene. The goal is to share knowledge acquired through the years in a small and neglected market.
Each Swiss Band and soundsystem must be able to create SwissReggaeUnity sessions counting on each other .
Session One
Session one is the name of the first project.
Moonraisers and Feedback decided that in addition of their own studio projects for their respective new album, they will concentrate on a SwissReggaeUnity live act.
Session one is designed with a fix nucleus: Moonraisers musicians plus other musicians and the Feedback singers.
Other musicians and bands strengthen the show depending on the location. Akamassa, Jahmangang, Herbalist, Shabani & The Burnin'Birds are already part of the session one and others will join.

Jah Bone Kageme - The Majestic Force, connu sous le nom de Darius Rourou, neuchâtelois d'origine rwandaise, il se produit en concert depuis 15 ans. Il prêche l'amour en appel au respect de droits humains dans une tournée baptisée «Love campaign Tour». Il a invité pour cette soirée, le reggaeman Rasta Abuna. Issu des îles de Zanzibar, le jeune chanteur qui a grandi dans les quartiers roots de la Jamaïque dévoilera au public , du reggae «roots-love» tant festif que méditatif.

Entrée de Secours joue ses propres compositions, oscillants entre le reggae, le ska, et le punk, renforcés par des paroles provocatrices et engagées. Avec plus d'une trentaine de concerts le groupe réussi à transmettre sa diversité et son énergie à son public.
