Biography

TAX COLLECTOR est un groupe formé début 2012 autour d'une idée toute simple : prendre son pied sans se prendre la tête. Les 3 compères, déjà bien aguerris, en profitent pour explorer d'abord différents horizons, qu'ils ont la chance de mettre régulièrement à l'épreuve du public. Petit-à-petit, le trio se forge non seulement une belle présence scénique mais surtout une identité propre et singulière. Au final, TAX COLLECTOR envoie un POWER-ROCK percutant et désapprivoisé, métissage accidentel de ce que le rock proclame avoir fait de mieux (NoFX, The Presidents, Hendrix, QOTSA, … y passent tous, avec joie) !

Après digestion de cette première année pleine de concerts un peu partout en Suisse romande, le groupe débarque automne 2013 avec un premier EP foudroyant, prêt à reprendre la route et tout donner sur votre scène ! Pour vous saisir ;)

TAX COLLECTOR started in the beginning of 2012 around a simple idea : enjoy music first without thinking. All 3 already well-hardened musicians thus enjoy at first investigating various horizons, which they can regularly try on stage and see what it tastes like. By doing so, the trio builds up to itself a rich stage experience, and above all a proper and singular identity. TAX COLLECTOR plays a hard-hitting and untamed POWER-ROCK, accidental melting-pot of what rock music says it did best (NoFX, The Presidents, Hendrix, QOTSA, … all join here, with great pleasure) !

After this first year full of gigs all around French-speaking Switzerland, the band shows up this fall with a first and lightning EP, ready to hit the road and rock your stage ! Best regards,
