Originally formed as a duo by Olivier (Lead Guitar and Vocals) and Tom (Drums and Backing Vocals), the quartet "The Basement Prophets" was born in May 2008 when Loris (Lead Guitar) and Greg (Bass Guitar) joined the band.

They started composing their own songs straight away and were soon performing them live in popular local venues including the "Caves de Versoix", the "Chat Noir" in Carouge and the "Scene" in Plainpalais. They deliver a powerful alternativ...

They deliver a powerful alternative Rock incorporating many different influences such as Metallica, Van Halen, The Offspring, AC/DC, Soundgarden and Underschool Element to name only a few...

At the end of the year, after acquiring some live experience, they decide to enter in studio to record their first EP. Thus, they hope to interact with a broader audience but also to be able to play on other Geneva's stages or even on some outside stages.
