My name's Jimmy. I'm from Geneva in Switzerland and play piano since i'm 7 years old. My grand mother was a classical musician (violin, organist in church & piano) but she died just before me born.My mum got a "Steinway" piano from my grand-mother, and the possiblity for me to play music was startin.
I begin study for 8 years classical music, then I played my first band and live on stage @ 15 years old.
In 2002, i loose my mother and one year after, in 2003, I got the chance to travel to Jamaica (Give thanx Eric, Prince Alla and Asher Selector & Feedback, will never forget), record and mix some wicked tunes at the mythique Bob Marley recordin studio "Tuff-Gong" in Kingston, Jamaica. it's really a gift to get the opportunity to play with legendary musician like Horsemouth, chinna, Sticky and so many more.
So we seat down the studio and begin to record the riddim. One of the song "Miss u mama" is in memory of my mother who died too early in 2002. Check for my 7" version under my label Tubb sound & distribute by Tuff gong:).
I wanna personally give thanx to Andrew Bassie (my brother inna Jamaica), and also wanna show some love & respect in Jamaica to Errol Organs, Jolly Stewart, Horsemouth, Cassey, Chinna, Sticky, Doniky, Prince Alla, Sonja, Princess S, Steeve Tulloch, Yamibolo, Al Pancho, and in Geneva to my mum,sister and father, Feedback, Eric Faessler & family, Najawhite a.k.a. Leo, Antonin, Adri & danielle, Asher Selector, Piment rouge crew ben, Abdu, herbalist Joha & triginga, Jill & Stuff and every one me forget...Maximum love love to my sista Christine, my father charles & my lovely & missing Mum Louise.
