At the age of 15 Volkan invested his first apprentice wage in a record player. After his first gigs in Youth Centres and bars he received his first residency in Zurich in his early years – at this time he regularly rocked the Afterhours in the legendary ZOO club. His energetic and harmonious sets regularly put the clubs into a state of ecstasy. The audience thanked him with its hilarious mood.
In 2005 he tried for the first time to create music of his own even though he loved putting on records – he needed another valve for his creativity. In 2010 Volkan aced the producer school SAE. Only a year later he released his first album “Volkan Ocak” on Hypertraxx. His debut bears his distinctive and unique signature.
Sounds, beats, melodies and grooves are his purpose in life and there are constantly new tracks in the pipeline: The world of electronic music may look forward to it!
