Walt’s Blues Box is from Wintherthur, Switzerland. They’ve toured throughout Switzerland and other countries in Europe. They’ve played at well established venues like Blues Festival Lucerne, Blues Festival Basel, Jazz Festival Sursee, Jazz Days Lichtensteig, Blues Festival Baden, Jazz Days Meilen, Blues Festival Frick, Winterthurer Blues Night, Musivfestival Rudert in Freudenstadt, Blues Nights Gossau and Magic Blues in Valle Maggia, along many other clubs.

The band captivates the audience with their musical abilities, spontaneity and solid, tight unity. With their vitality clearly visible on stage, they’re able to deliver pure music to their audiences. Walt’s Blues Box plays a dynamic and wide panorama of Blues; from traditional Blues to Swing, to Jazz, to Funk Blues. It’s an ideal mix mainly of their own compositions as well as a few expanded versions from other composers. It’s an exciting bluesy, groovy program that any music lover will find resonates throughout their body and soul.

Their own style of mixing and combining modern and traditional Blues with different music styles is impressively demonstrated on their latest album “The cat walk”, which was recorded in February 2011. 12 own compositions are the result of an intense cooperation and fusion of the different characters of the musicians. The style of the band has developed further. After their 1st album “Live at Albani” and the 2nd “Walk down the road”, this now is their 3rd album.

Walt's Blues Box fanden im Jahr 2007 in Winterthur zusammen und touren seither durch die Schweiz und das nahe Ausland.
