Biography

Born in 1977 in Basel, Switzerland, Raphael alias DJ Kay started to play spanish
guitar with the age of 10. Later, in the early 90s, he founded the Britpop-Band
„Claud“ as the lead singer and lead guitar player.
In 1996 he won the 1st price in a music-competition, initiated by dance-star
„DJ BoBo“. The price was a national tour with DJ BoBo and the Backstreet Boys.
At this time, Raphael launched his first single „one more chance“as „Mr. Kay“..
After a longer break and without the former lead-singer Anna, Raphael strengthened
his producing-skills and continued to write and produce Pop-Songs in various styles.
In 2009, he started to sell his works over various online-musicplatforms (e.g. Itunes),
by working together with the musiclabel www.imusiciandigital.com in Zurich.
