Bandplanet – the FairPlay MusicBiz

Bandplanet is an online music, social and business platform that adheres to the principle of FairPlay – meaning we believe that musicians have the right to be fairly compensated for the amazing music they bring into the world, and to control what happens to it – that’s only fair, right?

Launched in June 2011, we are the first music service to offer a 100% return on music sales to artists, as well as a commission-based promotion program for our Premium Club members. As a multi-genre, multilingual music community with a truly global reach and a die-hard passion for music, we offer all the tools necessary for success in the MusicBiz.

We believe

We believe that every musician should have the right to exercise control over the music they make, from pricing to distribution to promotion. We think that there is room and motivation in today’s music industry to fairly compensate artists for their efforts, while at the same time giving a great music experience to fans. No one wants to rip off musicians – the very source of the music we love. Our aim is to make it easy for fans and music lovers to support musicians and artists the FairPlay way.
