Biography
The project REVOLT has been founded in August 2003 firstly thought as a second band to Noaccess, but with the main motivation to play quicker songs without compromises. The band members Dannyboy (Vocals), Pat Chainsaw (Guitars), Piet Shoemaker (Bass) and Stickkiller (Drums) remained the same, but the music style was new and heavier. The new songs are a mix of brutal oldschool hardcore-voice combined with burning metal riffs and a grooving rythm section. In April 2004 the band recorded together with the label Mad3Music and Dominique Gendre (of Enigmatik) on the mixtables, it's debut album "The past belongs to the ghosts", mastered by Glenn Miller at the Greenwood Studios.
In November 2004, JéJé joined the band as a second guitar player. Beginning of March 2005 the ways of REVOLT and Piet Shoemaker parted on friendly bases. The band was looking for a new bass player, but used still every opportunity to play concerts, even without. Beginning of 2006, Alex, former death-metal guitar player, joined the band as a bass player. With his groove he boosts the brutal REVOLT sound!
Beginning of May 2006, the REVOLT boys have started to record some new songs for the upcoming promo EP entitled "Reign of Fire".
REVOLT has no political meaning, it's just the best way to share it's passion for aggressive music with the audience.
REVOLT has completely replaced Noaccess after 10 years of rocking swiss stages and looks motivated toward it's future.
