Biography
Everything began in 2005, when a pianist, Tom, and a guitarist-singer, Greg, decided to found a band in influence Pop-Rock. It’s in that way Mo', Chris and Had arrived in the band, respectively in the bass guitar, in the guitar and in the drums.
It’s therefore with resumptions since ‘70s until today that this new band of the region of Geneva, then called River Plate, made its first local stages during year 2006. The first compositions then didn’t delay being born, with already an affirmation much more Rock.
This musical transition came along with a period of transfers in the band, notably by the arrival, in 2007, of Mathéa to the place of Had behind the drums, then by the departure of one of the co-founders: Tom.
It's then that the quartet wanted to evolve, adopting the current name of The Addicted, while continuing to replace little by little the resumptions by compositions, and to multiply the representations near Geneva.
At the end of 2007, the band reached its current composition with the departure of Mathéa, then replaced by Max, moment during which the band turned to the Alternative Rock before recording on Lausanne their first EP, Artefax, in April, 2008.
Since, four musicians continue to cross the regional stages, and are at present recording their second EP, Homemade, realized by them own means in their studio of repetition.
The first tracks are therefore to come little by little on MX3...
