Bobby Roots, is the new “Rootsman of Reggae.” From the age of seven, music reverberated through his small frame and hypnotized the souls of all those who listened to his voice. Born in Montreux, Mama Swissa on March 7, 1986, the young man of Clarenstown was inspired by The Almighty God, Most High Jah, King of Kings, Lord of Lords…, and by the Holy Bible. Bob Marley and Peter Tosh are among the many influences in his Roots Rock Reggae music. His smooth voice has been resonating his positive message, and his songwriting to this day ensuring that Bobby Roots will always exemplify spirituality in music. Through his music he preach brotherhood and peace for all of mankind. Bobby Roots never cease spreading his message of Love & Unity, singing always conscious lyrics on positive vibrations. In 2007, Bobby Roots moved to Fortaleza in Brazil, where he rested one month. He made several concerts in Canoa Quebrada and in Fortaleza with his friend Dj Bruno Rasta do Freedom Bar Sound. On his first album " Judgment Time ", released in May 2011, Bobby Roots offers an exceptional album paying his respect to his heroes from Reggae's golden age and infusing this timeless music with a touch of modern Roots & Culture.
