In his early Days DJ Ride was influenced by the 80ies Funk, Soul, Disco, Hiphop and Rock Sounds. This great Music inspired him to buy a Drumkid and playing the Drums for about 10 Years in different Rock and Funk Combos. In the late 90ies he was electrified by the fresh new House and Garage Stuff and become a DJ. The Background as a Drummer gave him shortly a good Feeling for the right fat Beats. And his excellent Mixing-Technic set the Dancefloors on Fire.
His Success brought him finally the right Attention. So he was signed by one of the biggest Music-Agences in Switzerland „Pleasure Productions“ and got the Opportunity to play Live at the biggest Shows in Switzerland and other Countries, like Streetparade Zürich, Openair Frauenfeld, Openair Gampel, Openair St.Gallen, and other big Events.
In 2009 he founded the Online House-Label „Push On Music“ together with his Partner Terry Lex. „Push On Music“ is specialized in Deep and Soulful House- and Loungemusic and released allready a lot of great international Artists (Booker T, Kenny Bobien, Matt Caseli, Shane D) and Bands. The Releases are available on all significant Online Shops like itunes, Beatport, Traxsource and Juno.
DJ Ride‘s „Streetlife“ was played on the Housepacific Radio Show from Mastermind Christian Hornbostel, one of DJ Rides Idols, and later also released on the Offical Streetparade Chill House CD 2010 by k-Tel. The Album reached the Top-20 of the Offical Swiss Album-Charts.
In July 2011 the „Push On Music Ibiza Sampler“ was placed at Number 6 on the international Traxsource Album Download-Charts, another Highlight.
DJ Ride loves to perform with Live-Musicians (Sax, MC/Vocal, Keys, Percussion, Guitar). In 2011 he started together with his Producer-Friends Steven K and Dave Raaflaub the Bandproject „Deepsession“. „Deepsession“ is a Live-Houseband with great Musicans and funky Dancemusic.
