Lozzi

Biography

Lozzi is the collaborative duo of singer/songwriter Alicia Pestalozzi and guitarist/music producer Philippe Foiera. Through their haunting pop melodies, electronic samples, authentic lyrics and hip hop-inspired beats, Lozzi's music is a patchwork of influences meshed together to create a fresh and unique sound.

The two musicians met eight years ago in Switzerland as members of Phil Collins' Foundation for young talents and have been working and touring together ever since. Within the foundation they have opened for artists such as Phil Collins, Lionel Richie, Barbara Hendricks and Craig David and performed over 400 concerts.

Lozzi came to life a year ago in a small room where the duo spent nights and days creating music. Using a very minimal set up (a sound card, a guitar, a microphone and a macbook pro), Lozzi's first of many demos are the result of a deep musical connection and an utmost desire to create good music that speaks to the heart.
