Biography
Among Swiss musicians Marco Santilli can aspire to an absolute record: that of multiformity of musical proposals. His creative passion, his unstoppable inventiveness, pushes him to measure himself with various musical styles and genres. From song to classical music, from jazz to modern folk, his approach is always charged with a well-tempered enthusiasm, colored moreover by a very personal charge of pleasant humor. His is a "pop" with substantial musical content, respecting a precise genre and because "even in this form I remain a musician." Ironic about himself and the health of "pop" music, he had released "Non so cantar" (I can not sing), followed by the album “Tempi passati” (Past Times), in rotation on national broadcasters. Flanked by versatile professionals, Marco now presents the new album “Fiori d’ombra” (Flowers of Shadow) in which bold melodies coexist with sophisticated harmonies supported by an unmistakable voice. Simply "music," music without a doubt, which is enough for itself.
