MARIO FERRINI

The best of both cultures
Growing up in Italy and Switzerland Mario Ferrini was deeply influenced by both cultures. As a result his unique musical sense is a fine mixture of both the Italian and the Swiss mentality: vivacious beats combined with a pointedly accurate mixing technique. No wonder he was already spinning the decks at the tender age of 14, taking the audience on a journey into his world. A world full of driving beats, great emotions and a profound love of music.

The musical talent
As the artist he is, Mario Ferrini sets himself no boundaries in his passion for music. He plays all styles of house music, from vocal and latin house to funky and tech house. In his relentless effort to show his audience new musical horizons, he puts on a unique show live on stage with some of the best musicians and singers in the business. The name Mario Ferrini stands for nothing less than breathtaking live performances.
Honouring this good reputation, he has played alongside the likes of DJ greats such as Grammy-Award winner Louie Vega of Masters at Work, Bobby & Steve, Frank Roger, Butch, CJ Macintosh, Timmy Vegas, DJ Antoine, Yass and many more. whether he´s spinning at the Ministry of Sound in London, at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, at Bora Bora and Delano Beach in Ibiza, at Supperclub in Amsterdam, at Baia Imperiale in Riccione or at many other clubs across Europe. - Mario Ferrini sets the dance floors on fire with his infectious sound!!!!

Ferrini Records
Following the call of independence, Mario Ferrini created his own music label Ferrini Records in 2007. With his unmistakable sense for quality, he has been releasing numerous remixes and singles together with famous artists and labels. The highlights of those releases have included artists like Mr. Mike, Hanna Hais, Sueno Soul, Jim C, as well as the Eurovision Song Contest finalist Anna Rossinelli. Also released on Ferrini Records were two songs with the Balkan star singer Valton, "Did You Know" & "One Day". The latter airing for four weeks on the music channel VIVA Switzerland. Various compilations have also seen the light of day on Ferrini Records among which: “Miss & Mister Nordwestschweiz 2011 & 2012”, "Party Animals", "Just Dance" and "The Sound of Mario Ferrini Vol. 1 & 2".
In 2010 Mario Ferrini produced and released the album "21st Century Funk", of the Swiss funk band "The Monotones" and thereby confirmed his reputation as one of the most versatile artists in the Swiss music scene. Furthermore he produces and presents the weekly radio show "Release" on Radio X as well as the internationally broadcasted "Ferrini Radio Show".

How Can I?
With the current top hit" How Can I?" Mario Ferrini's career is rocketing towards a new zenith. Together with the "King of House" CeCe Rogers, also known as the powerful voice of the world famous band Jestofunk, Mario Ferrini is defining house music anew. "How Can I?" which was released on February 14th has been broadcast on various radio stations, i.e. Radio Energy and the video clip can be seen all over the internet. On YouTube the video clip has excited music lovers from all over the world and had more than 1 million views within the first month of it´ s release. The video clip also figured on the playlists of MTV and SRF 2 (Swiss Radio & Television)
Doubtless to say Mario Ferrini is a name to remember and will be heard by even more of the public in future!
