A short introduction:
Nakaruga is a Swiss Modern Metal band that was born in 2008. It’s members all have had pretty solid musical experiences in the past, and were all driven by the common ambition to breed a new band that would embody today’s extreme Metal genre evolution.
Electronic and industrial elements are what really make Nakaruga’s sound spread from the trees: digital sampling together with futuristic synthesizer propelled layers are the backbone of it’s distinction.
Furthermore a progressive yet groovy approach in the songs structure is strongly emphasized by a very well balanced polyrhythmic touch. The downtuned guitars also contribute to give depth to an everdark atmosphere.
Last but not least, the presence of two singers with very distinctive vocal nuances confer an even more thrilling
vibe to the whole package.
What does Nakaruga stand for:
Conceptually and lyrically speaking Nakaruga strives to analyze the patterns and behaviours of human beings
when confronted with every day’s life and reality. Such an ambitious goal is surely not an easy task, but this band
is certainly not aiming for conformity. The aformentioned “search for truth” should lean to personal improvement as well as internal enrichment.
