Tamagotchi Suicide Squadron

Biography

Tamagotchi Suicide Squadron was born in Zurich, Switzerland in 2005, as the creative brainchild of Captain Bitrage (Bass, Synths, and Drums) and Caccia Schiacciatore:
(Guitars, Synths, and Drums), an artistic child which suffers from severe Attention Deficit Disorder and musical Tourette’s syndrome. It has been conceived after years of abortive attempts to find a creative outlet for their musically adventures ideas, an enterprise which dates as far back as 1994, when they first formed a band. Containing in its DNA such disparate strains as Disco, Post-Punk, Thrash-Metal, Electro, Bossa Nova and the irreverent use of sampled voices, it nevertheless also frequently displays a keen ear for the infectious Pop hook. All these elements are pulled together and woven into an intricate tapestry, which mirrors the hypertextual reality of living in the now, where every moment in space and time is just a keystroke away.
The duo is currently working on a series of EP’s, collecting the various songs they have written and recorded in the last year. Their pan-globally polyglot psychedelic Pop will be available in digital form, with the band also looking for a label to release their music in physical formats.
