From the very first note 'Walking On The Water' is a foot tapper with an infectious groove and a feel-good vibe. It's a wild mixture of country, blues, gospel and pop that features Ajay Mathur's long-time friend and musical companion Richard Koechli on guitars and percussion. Ajay regards the 2013 Swiss Blues Award winner as one of the finest slide guitarists on the scene today. 'Walking On The Water' is a cover version of Ajay Mathur's original from his 2015 "9 to 3" album and one of 13 spectacular remakes of Ajay's songs by roots, folk, jazz, classical and rock musicians from Tokyo to LA and Chicago to Buenos Aires on his latest album "Blow My Cover", released digitally, on CD and as Vinyl LP on October 20, 2023
