today is a day like the days
when everything goes wrong and you'd rather stay in bed
today's such a day and i say
to myself thats my chance for really going mad

but of course i've got to get up and out
first stop busstation yeah i missed it and i shout

and i take a look at the crowd
but the crowd is gone with the bus and no such doubt

well now i've gotta use my feet
and the way seems longer than it seemed
behind a bus-window with a book to read
it starts to rain in an endless stream

so if you wake up and you take off

well i arrived at work 3 hours later
and 3 hours later makes 2 hours too late
outside the front door i collide with a skater
is there no other place to skate?!

trying to save this day i run for a cup of coffee
and that cup remembers me that nothing in the worlds for free

'cause the beans ran out and the water ran out
and the machine is out
of order anyway my brain starts molding another doubt

i guess i should have known it before
i've seen enough and now i'm sure
falling down in a tower without a floor
knowing this day holds disasters galore
