“FIJI is a Swiss electronic music duo from Bern Switzerland with a sound made for the world - with Simon Schuettel on electronics and Simone De Lorenzi on vocals that they describe themselves as being somewhere between Iggy Pop and Amanda Lear. Sexy is their latest track and will be feature on their upcoming fifth album. An active live band, FIJI have performed with bands such as Santigold, Madness, Goldfrapp, D.A.F., Ebony Bones, Kosheen, and the Belgian indie-electro clashers Vive La Fête, who invited FIJI to join them on their Swiss tour. In recent years they have played events such as the Gurtenfestival in Bern, the Kaufleuten, the X-TRA, the Mascotte or the M4Music Festival in Zürich, the Münchner Muffathalle, the Swiss Beach in Vienna and the 4cento in Milan“.
