ABU's songs strongly reflect the existential effect that music has had on the man and his life. Abu reveals his heart. Highly vulnerable but without detours, he keeps plunging into the story of his life, emerging from it with a total of 96 songs. 12 of them have now become a collection of musical gems: EARN AND SEED! Abu, guitar player, pianist, bassist and drummer, has built a musical tower out of his past.

Guitars whisper and scream with the urgency of a drowning bastard. The horns are limping home. The gleeman revolves spastically through the kingdom of his dreams and the dungeon of his nightmares. Some strings are comforting, some touching to tears.

ABU, the singer, is urgent, intense, feverish and uncompromisingly honest. The voice rasps itself deep into the desert sand, it scrapes on human abysses, cries out with despair like few voices have done since Cobain, brutally direct and not afraid of setbacks. The anger and grief over inabilities surges through ABU' s soul like a wild flood, it rages off and vanishes on the horizon in the spherical soundscapes of this great album.

Here is a man who follows his heart, who spreads out his musical kaleidoscope in front of us without the slightest hint of mainstream ambition. A beautifully orchestrated concept album of great elegance, full of playful brilliance and poetic depth.

ABU is 30 years old. He lives in a small Japanese car of green color and run by a coughing engine. At night, he struggles with his instruments. In a basement, for years now. In the daytime, he endures his insomnia.
