Emilie Zoé started to write songs three years ago when she thought her electric guitar could get on well with her voice. Playing her songs alone on stage made her be noticed by several artists that lived not far from her home town, Lausanne, and with whom she collaborated for a year, until Anna Aaron asked her to join her band. After touring two years around Europe playing the guitar, the sampler and singing backing vocals, she came home with more songs in her pocket, decided to share them. She spent the winter recording six of the first songs she wrote forming her first EP called Empty, and is now excited to show this material live. They're inspired by various emotions centered on a void that she often feels which pushes her to create. Her concerts are thereby intense moments that share lost instants, fleeting pains or vain happiness, and where sadness cohabits with fear, hope, melancholy or even savage rage.
