In 2011 they have been playing 3 sold out concerts in Bern and Zurich with Hurts in front of 4'500 people. In 2008 they played among other concerts at the Open Air St. Gallen in front of 2'000 people. Their songs have been bought in all kind of different places as France, Danemark, USA, Japan, Germany, Nor-way, Belgium, Algeria, Italy, Portugal and many more, thanks to itunes, mu-sicme, etc.
The two frontmen from JUNES Daniel Hauser and „Marc Frischknecht per-form their songs live with a 7-headed band and have been playing over 100 concerts in Switzerland, France and Germany.
In April 2006, the first CD „you know“ has been released. Daniel (vo-cals/piano) and Marc (guitar) gathered already with their debut album a lot of good feedbacks from the critics and the radios have been playing their songs on daily rotation. The CD has been recorded prevailing in their flat share in St. Gallen. Over 3 years they have been writing in their own appart-ment.
In May 2008 „consequences“ the se-cond album followed. That CD also has been created prevailing in their own flat, but has been recorded after with a live band. As well again, the feedbacks have been very nice and the songs ha-ve been played also on several radio stations.
With their new album Don’t Leave Me In Autumn (Release France & Germany February 2012) JUNES show itself in a new light. Next to the familiar sound structures and the mellow melodies, JUNES mix elegantly traditional Cello and Violine with new electronic sounds. The output is a spherical mix-ture between old and new sounds, spherical, quiet and sometimes atypi-cal compared to bands like Phoenix, Blur and Depeche Mode.
Daniel and Marc are multisided musicians. Beside JUNES they have been composing the film melody for the movie ZUFALL BRINGEN, which was on cinema in 2010. Furthermore they enjoy making music with their project HITCHCOOK which goes more into a electronic direction. In spring 2013 they’re again on cinema as actors in the movie HIMMELFARHTSKOMMAN-DO.
