After his first album LIFE AND DEATH OF ROMANO POAL released in 2002 distributed in Switzerland, France, Japan, USA and Canada, he compiled the ICH MÖCHTE EIN EICHER SEIN album featuring Avril, Octet, Water Lilly, Seelenluft...many others and, of course, did a brilliant remix of the track NICE written by Martin and Stephan Eicher. Now, he's just finished his second album.

Welcome back to the astonishing, bewitching and magical world of Swiss genius sampler/electronic player KID CHOCOLAT.

This feature is inspired by zombies movies from the early 30's to the apocalyptic quadralogy by George A. Romero. It's like being stuck on a car in a drive-in under the stars witnessing the unveiling of macabre secrets, nearly forbidden, full of bloody gruesomeness and lascivious sexuality. This is a world where you can meet Roger Corman, Billy Chong, Max Schreck, Mario Bava and a lot of different undead creatures.

In this new album KID CHOCOLAT collaborated with such artists as MOCKY, LOVE MOTEL, BELLWALD and some others to bring some fresh views of his compositions.

With original ideas and a vivid imagination, KID CHOCOLAT creates a rich, incredible and explosive cocktail of electronic, pop and old-fashioned music. Combining warm samples of old movies, loops of old records, recorded conversations, atmospheres of other times, magic ambiences, happy and entertaining songs, dreamy emotional landscapes, imaginary ambiences, flashy melodies, groovy atmospherics, psychedelic punch, fragile samples, delicate and spatial enchanted atmospheres…. as well as electronics, voices, discreet guitars, synth, rhythms,…. KID CHOCOLAT has built entertaining and varied songs, which won’t give you a minute to breathe by their intensity and dynamics.

This album definitely brings freshness and new colours in today’s world of electronic music.
