Minkus is a metal band coming from Lausanne, Switzerland.
This year, the band makes a 180 degrees musical spin and looks back on its influences to present us an unique style in the French part of Switzerland.
After 2 studio albums, 'Hermano' in 2003 and 'Minkus' in 2007, the band has found a new style and refreshment since the arrival in 2008 of brazilian vocalist Gabi.
With over 100 concerts across Switzerland and Europe, the band is establishing itself as a major act in Swiss metal scene.
Compared to bands such as Rage Against The Machine, Korn or yet Guano Apes, not only for their sound but also for their live performances, MINKUS presents us an enraged and determined new album 'The Shape of Things to Come', which will be released on September 2011.
