"Re-count" was created as a solo project back in 1995 in Lugano by "Omar Enrico Bernasconi", moving on to a phase of many collaborations with local artists, national and international. These artists include the singer-songwriter from Ticino "Michela Domenici (Diaspro), the star of the Italian new wave "Garbo", the group "Young Gods", of which Re-count has created many remixes, "Gionata" (Gionata Zanetta), which whom he created the album "Yea/Nay", "Maya", "Wayne Emmanuel" (DJ from London), "Elyan", "Nick Poretti" (Plain, Sofsky), "Sascha Generale" (Stilltone) and for the most recent project called "Betaverso", Ivan Martino Griggio "Vaniggio" on vocals and instruments and "Liam Attivissimo" for the visual media side, as well as many other musicians for liveshows. The singer in Re-count's projects for the last years has been "Fabien Perrochon".
Throughout the years, Re-count has explored various genre contaminations between Pop, Rock, breakbeat, drum'n'base, ambient, goa and industrial. A true amalgamation of styles, sounds and languages, an alternative and authentic kind of music.
The union between acoustic and electronic sounds is what Omar has always been working on through time.
