THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA – 'THE MYRRH SESSIONS'
Don’t fear the silence – discover the difference
In February 2013 THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA are releasing their new - and currently 5th - studio album, for the first time in a fully acoustic guise. It is a compilation of re-interpretations of existing songs and new song material. Unplugged CDs are popular with many bands, the concept is renowned. And yet there are quite many changes in this one by THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA.
In THE MYRRH SESSIONS the band literally reinvents itself and celebrates their music passionately.
Musical boundaries of genre are at times joyfully fathomed and skilfully crossed. Influences from Indie, Alternative, Goth, Americana, Folk and Blues merge with the innate and typical song structures of THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA to create a surprisingly new entity, convincing and constantly on a high musical level.
THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA are known for their dark, powerfully-energetical rock shows along with thundering electronics and impulsive beats. Now these exceptional musicians, headed by the charismatic singer-song writer Michael Sele, are setting accents introducing the piano, the acoustic guitar, bass and drums. Furthermore in about half of the songs the band has collaborated with a string trio. The soundscape obtained by common improvisation unfold by the elaborate and virtuosic interaction from bearing intimacy to beamy amplitude and attain further intensity and drama. Michael Sele‘s dark and distinctive voice permanently mediates instancy, wrapped in warm acoustic sounds, driven by percussive elements that indicate the beat, hypnotically and rhythmically. With their new album THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA disclose stylistic surprises and are capable of imparting new, exhilarant facets to their unique soundscape.

Geile Show im X-tra!
Brillianter Sound, geile Liveband!
Weiter so, The Beauty of Gemina!
The Beauty of Gemina - die Entdeckung des Jahres. A new star is born!
hammer video zu nem hammer song!!!!!
