Biography

Visage Pâle’s debut 8-track LP is called “Holistic Love”. With lyrics in both French and English, the self-taught musician captures the surprising potential of machines to create enigmatic soundscapes somewhere between Arca and Thom Yorke. The Abidjan-born dual Swiss and Swedish citizen began fiddling with the piano and the guitar when he was 17 and soon composed instinctive tunes of his own. After an adolescence torn between moments of happiness and tragic events, Lars used music as a form of emotional release. The result is an organic form of electronica that combines dark layers of sound with liquid beats and luminous vocal harmonies.
