Biography

Celebrating the in-between, the unfinished, trial and error, failure and trust.

They tell of relationships and patterns of socialization, of moments of realization, of the
in-between, of the heaviness and lightness of being in love, of connections between
people and of cycles and repetitions, of transformation and construction sites. These
themes are embedded in different electronic sound structures - sometimes more
experimental, sometimes with more classical beat structures. The soundscape is
completed by spoken and sung text and invites you to dance, dream and let go. Always
hauntingly dramatic, raw, honest and heartfelt.
Behind Butterflyca are Saye and Aimée. They are a solid part of eachothers life, and
what could be more obvious than to make music together. After releasing two singles
"Perfect Picture" and "Bousteu", their debut EP "Bousteuä i mir innä" with five tracks
was released on 15.09.23.
