Dashes are Swiss duo Marco Agovino and Isa Wiss, who met for the first time in March 2003, and the musical collaboration soon followed.

They scatter tripping beats underneath electronic-churning bass, samples, guitars, breathy expression and pained vocals by Wiss, who is not afraid to speak her mind. The tone is occasionally dark, sometimes with the looseness of a jazzy innocence, and typically groovy.
